Peninsula Private Hospital now provides a surgical capacity boost through four new operating theatres, two new procedure rooms, a new five-bed High Dependency Unit (HDU), and a refurbishment of the Medical Ward.
This expansion is part of Peninsula Private Hospital's commitment to providing the highest level of care to its patients, and to meeting the growing demand for healthcare services in the North Brisbane region.
The new operating theatres are equipped with the latest technology and now allow Peninsula Private Hospital to offer a wider range of surgical procedures. The new procedure rooms will be used for a variety of diagnostic and treatment services, including minor surgery, endoscopy, and colonoscopy.
The new five-bed HDU provides a higher level of care for patients who require close monitoring after surgery or other medical procedures. The new Medical Ward will create a more comfortable and home-like environment for patients.
